How to integrate your poptin with Kit (formerly ConvertKit)?

There are two ways to integrate with Kit. OAuth and API Keys.

OAuth - Automatically Authenticate and Integrate

1. In the integration popup, search for and select Kit, then click Authenticate.

2. You'll be taken to a new tab with an authorization prompt. Make sure the correct account is selected, then click Grant Access to Poptin.

3. Your API Key will fill in automatically. Select the form you want to use, then click Approve to complete the integration.

Integrate using API Key

1. On the Design page of your poptin, click the "Email and integrations" section on the left menu and then click on "Add integration"

2. Search and Choose Kit

3. Log in to your Kit account > Settings > Developer. Click on Add a new key and copy the API key.

4. Paste the API key into the API Key field of the integration popup on your poptin's design page, select the form you want use and click on "Approve".

5. By default, Kit has double opt-in enabled for every form, meaning leads won't appear on your subscriber list until they confirm via the confirmation email. If you'd like leads added directly without confirmation, you can disable this under Form > Settings > Confirmation Email for each form. Turning this off will also disable double opt-in.

Note: Supported fields in ConvertKit <> Poptin integration are as below.
