How to integrate your poptin to Zapier?
Create your poptin. If you don't have one, feel free to check the guide: How to create your first popup
Go to the Poptin design by clicking on a small pencil and choose the Edit design in the menu.
Now, you can just scroll down until you will see Email and integrations. Right there you can just click on +Add integration.
Click on Zapier and copy the API key. Later we will get back for Poptin ID as well.
Go to Zapier, click on "Create Zap" in your Zapier dashboard.
Then you will see the following screen. Click on the Poptin. If you can't see Poptin, you can easily find it by typing Poptin into the search engine.
Choose the trigger event. I would recommend to use the default setting which is New lead.
Zapier will ask you to connect your account with Poptin by sign in to Poptin. Please, click on the "Sign in to Poptin" button.
Now it's time to use the copied API key from Poptin. Once you will be on this screen, you can just paste the API key into the box and confirm that by clicking on "Yes, continue".
In the next step Zapier will ask you which Poptin account you would like to connect to the app. So just click on your poptin account and continue to the next step.
Please go back to Poptin and check the Poptin ID or its name. Now you can just choose in Zapier which poptin would you like to use as a trigger based on its name and ID.
We are getting to the last steps.
Now, you can test your triggers. Before that, make sure that you have already some leads in your Poptin. Please, check the short guide: "[How can I see my leads](https://help.poptin.com/article/show/122337-how-to-see-leads-of-a-specific-poptin)". After that, you can just click on test trigger in the Zapier app.
If the test was successful you will see a message "We found a lead!" and below you can see all details about the user that poptin sent to Zapier. As you can see in the picture there are many details like e-mail, name, traffic source, or even hidden fields with campaign tags. If you are more curious about how to get all this information from your poptin, please check the tutorial right here.
You just finished the set up of Poptin in Zapier! Now you can continue with the action that you would like to make after Poptin trigger.
