Date Property Trigger
Date property trigger fires based on a specific date stored in a contact's profile, such as a birthday, created at, updated at etc. This is ideal for sending birthday emails, anniversary messages, subscription renewal reminders, or any other date-based communication.
- Days relative - Set how many days before or after the date the trigger should fire. Enter a number, select the time unit (Days), and choose Before or After. For example, setting it to 5 Days Before will trigger the flow 5 days before the contact's date. Set it to 0 to trigger on the exact date.
- Select date property (required) - Choose the date field from the contact's profile to base the trigger on (e.g., Contact created on or Birthday). A confirmation message will appear showing exactly when the trigger will fire based on your settings.
Available options include: Contacts (Created at, Updated at, Subscription date, Unsubscribe date, and Birthday).
- Timezone - Set the timezone for when the trigger fires. Defaults to Recipient's Timezone to ensure the email arrives at the right local time. You can also select a custom time zone or use your account's timezone.
- Who should enter this automation? - Choose which contacts are eligible to enter. You can select All Contacts, All Subscribers, or a specific segment, with an optional filter.
- Re-trigger the flow for contacts that have been in this flow before - Defaults to Every time, which is recommended for recurring date-based flows like birthdays so the automation fires each year.
Once configured, click Select Trigger to save.
