What is an email bounce rate?

Email bounce rate is the percentage of emails that could not be delivered to the recipient’s inbox and were returned to the sender.

A high bounce rate can negatively affect your email deliverability and sender reputation. If the bounce rate remains too high, your account may be temporarily restricted or blocked to protect your sender reputation and maintain email delivery quality.

To maintain a healthy bounce rate, regularly clean your contact list and remove invalid or inactive email addresses.
