I don't see the poptin on my website

If you don't see your poptin appearing on your site, don't worry! We're here to help with a list of things you can check that should make it appear.

Try your poptin in an Incognito or Private window (Ctrl+Shift+N)
In addition, try it when you have no other Incognito windows or tabs open.

Make sure the code is installed on your site.
In the 'Poptins' tab you should see a turquoise dot next to the domain, above the popups table. If you don't, that means your code is not installed properly. (To be absolutely sure, you check in the page source HTML. You can do this by right-clicking and pressing "View Page Source, or with Ctrl+U. Then search (Ctrl+F) for "popt.in". You can also see if it runs in the Console by clicking F12-> Console)

Also, make sure the right UserID is used. If you have more than 1 account, it is possible you have a different code installed, which you can identify by the UserID at the end of the installation script.

For WIX/Weebly sites: if you cannot see the popt.in code on your site, simply remove the Poptin app from Settings > My Apps and then reinstall it. Clearing your cache is also required. You can also install it manually: Wix | Weebly

Make sure the poptin is ON (under the "Status" column)
If you have an Agency plan, make sure the Account is ON too (under "Accounts" page).

Make sure your website domain is written correctly
If you have a domain that redirects to a second domain, just put the second domain
(for example, if example1.com redirect to example2.com, just add example2.com as your poptin's domain).

Check that the page you are viewing is supposed to have a poptin shown
Open Display Rules and make sure you've selected to show the poptin on specific pages (and the one you're viewing) and that the URLs you pasted there are correct.

Check the display frequency
Your poptin may only be displayed for example, for returning visitors or every 3rd visit etc.

Make sure you've selected a trigger on the Display Rules step
If you've chosen "Autopilot", it will be hard for you to test it, because it runs dozens of different triggers.

If you're trying to test it on mobile, check on the Display Rules page that the Mobile option in the Devices section under Targeting is selected. The same goes for Desktop.

Delete Cache from your website and from your hosting.
If you have a WordPress site and you use WP-Rocket for example, try to disable it or at least try to disable this setting:

Delete Cache from your browser (guide: https://kb.iu.edu/d/ahic)

Check if you have reached the visitors limit of your plan. You can see it at the bottom of the Overview page.

Make sure you don't have a deadline for the poptin under the Display Rules. Once the deadline has passed, the poptin will stop.

Make sure you haven't limited the capacity of the poptin's views on the Display Rules page, and that your poptin hasn't reached the limit (if you turned it ON).

If is it a Timer poptin, check if you set a deadline in the left menu on the Design page. Once the deadline has passed, the poptin will stop showing.

If you are using any security apps/plugins for your website, make sure that you allow scripts from .cloudfront.net, .cloudflare.com, and popt.in
You can use this tool to evaluate your website's Content Security Policy to check security misconfigurations and to get recommendations as well.

Poptin does not work on GoDaddy's Website Builder and Google Sites websites as they do not allow third-party scripts to be added.
