Title Tag targeting - how it works?
With Title Tag Targeting you will be able to show (or not show) a poptin to specific pages based on their Title Tags in the HTML.
For example, you can show a poptin to visitors visiting your shop's product pages by targeting only the "product" title tag.
To only show a poptin on pages specific to Title Tag, start by going to the Display Rules step and click on "Title Tag Targeting" (under advanced Display Rules)
Then just paste the Title Tag you would like to target (like "product") of the pages you want to target and turn it ON.
Contains
This rule will show the poptin on pages that contain the word (string) in their Title Tags in HTML.
For example, if you target the string "products", the poptin will show up on every page that includes "products" in the title tag of those page's HTML.
It's quite similar to our Page Targeting feature but with the HTML title tag of the page instead of URL.
How to exclude pages by Title Tag - Not contains
This rule will hide the poptin on pages that include a specific word (string) in their Title Tags in HTML.
Precise Title Tag Targeting
If you use "Equals" or "Not equals", make sure you insert the complete Title Tag). For example: Thank you for signing up. This condition is useful when you want to target very specific pages, like the thank-you page.
Not sure how to find Title Tags?
You can find the Title Tag of any page by checking the HTML source or hovering your cursor on the Tab of your browser.
Please Note:
You can also target specific pages using the "Page Targeting" option.
