Shopify Cart targeting - How to show poptin based on Shopify Cart values?

With Poptin now you can show popups to your visitors based on the number of items/products in their carts or the total cart value.

Start by going to the Display Rules step of the popup and click on "Show Advanced Display Rules and scroll down to "Shopify Cart Targeting" click on it to expand.



Once turned on you can set the values and conditions accordingly. Below are the definitions for each option available.

Show : Show poptin if the condition matches.
Don't Show : Don't show poptin if the condition matches.



Number of Cart Items : Checks for the number of items/products in the cart.
Cart Money Value : Checks for the total cart amount.
Products in Cart : Checks for the specific products or from a collection in cart.



Over or Equal: Checks if the value is over or equal to the specified number.
Equal: Checks if the value is equal to the specified number.
Under: If the number of products in the cart or the cart money value is under the specific number.

Products in Cart

Any Product: Show product to customers with any product in their cart.
Page/Collection: Target users based on products in cart from a specific page/collection.
Specific Products: Target users with specific products in their cart.



Note: You can add/combine multiple targeting rules by clicking the Plus Icon with Show and Don't Show rules.

Use Cases of Shopify Cart Targeting:

Special Discount for orders above $100 - Increase conversion rate by showing a popup to customers who have added items worth more than $100 in their cart.
Upsell Free Shipping - Provide your customers with free shipping if the cart value is below $50. If the cart value is $40 then upsell them by showing them a popup saying Add item worth $10 or more to avail free shipping.
