How to use the Shopify Cart Trigger?

You can now show a poptin to users that add or remove a specific or any product from their Shopify Cart.

Go to your display rules and turn on the Shopify Cart Trigger. You can definitely combinate it with others but in this guide, we will keep it clean.

Once turned on you can select the Cart Action as desired. There are four actions available at this time as defined below.

Added Product: Triggers the popup if your visitor adds a specific or any product to the cart.

Removed Product: Triggers the popup if the visitor removes a specific or any product from the cart. With the removed product, you also get to choose a condition Emptied Cart which would trigger the popup when someone empties their cart.

Cart Items Number: Triggers the popup if your visitor's cart reaches a specific number of items with three thresholds available.

Greater than: Cart Items more than the specified number.
Equal: Cart items equal to the specified number.
Greater than or Equal: Cart Items more than or equal to the specified number.

Cart Value Threshold: Triggers the popup based on your cart value or total price of items in the cart.

Greater than: Total cart items price more than the specified number.
Equal: Total cart items price equals the specified number.
Greater than or Equal: Total Cart Items price more than or equal to the specified number.

Once you've selected the action it's now time to select a specific product from your store or select the option Any Product. Once selected click Publish Changes to publish the popup.

When you select a few products please note that the popup will be triggered when any of these products are added or removed from the cart.

Example: You select Table and Chair as products. So if someone removes a table or chair from their cart the popup will show.

You will now be able to see the popup trigger once a product is added to the cart depending on your Shopify Cart Trigger configuration.

Important : Shopify Cart Trigger overrides any set triggers and targeting rules.
