How to show a poptin when the visitor clicks on a button/link on your site?
After you choose your template and design your poptin, you will get to the Display Rules page.
- Turn on the "On-click" trigger and copy the link.
- Then paste that link as a hyperlink on a button/text/image on your site.
- Alternatively, click on attribute to add attribute to an existing anchor tag or add the attribute to a button.
That's it
Note: make sure you have your account's code implemented already on your site.
If you see this error when you click on your button:

It means one of the followings:
- The code is not installed (if you have installed it, try deleting cache).
- You're still testing in your current browser and have old cookies. Test again from an incognito window.
- Your website load speed is slow and the installation code didn't load yet. Try again from incognito and wait for your website to load.
- You use uBlock Origin Chrome extension, which blocks any script.

Important: On-Click Triggers override any set trigger and targeting rules.
