How to integrate your poptin with Dot Digital?

In this help guide, we will try to illustrate how you can integrate poptin with Dot Digital.
(API user email, API password, Address Book ID, and API Endpoint is needed for the integration)

Please follow the steps below to understand the process:

Login to your Dot Digital account and go to Settings > Access



Now go to API Users > New User



Now copy the Email Address and the Password you have set for the API User and click on the Save button to save the API user



After creating the username and password your API will be created also. Now copy your API endpoint from here



Now go to Contacts > My Contacts



Now open the Address Book that you want to integrate with poptin and copy the Address Book ID from the URL above



Make sure you copy the correct Address Book ID from the URL which should only be in numbers, like this:



Now go back to your Poptin Dashboard and go to Edit Design for the popup which you want to integrate with Dot Digital



Now scroll down to Email and Integration > Add Integration and select Dot Digital from the list of integrations that appears



Now paste the API user email, API password, Address Book ID, and API Endpoint in the respective fields on the integration



Once you have pasted all the required details correctly, click on the Approve button to save the integration



Don't forget to click on the Next or Publish changes button on the top right corner to save the integration in the poptin's settings



When the integration is successful, you will receive our API Test Lead in your Dot Digital contacts on the Address Book which is integrated.
