How a poptin conversion is tracked?
There are 2 types of conversions:
Lead - if you have a poptin with fields, then a conversion is tracked whenever a visitor submits the form.
Click - if your poptin doesn't include fields, then a conversion is tracked whenever a visitor clicks on the button of the poptin.
Conversion rate is the number of Leads (or clicks) divided by the number of Views.
Important: Conversions are counted just when the Submit button or additional buttons are clicked.
If you see the image below on your poptin's design page, it means you removed the Submit button, and conversions can't be counted.
If you are using Link Buttons, you can select the "Count As Conversion" checkbox to make sure the conversion is added and the conversion code is fired when the link button is clicked by a visitor.
