How to create floating teaser for your popup?
In this article, you'll learn how to create a floating teaser for your popups.
To create a new teaser, follow the steps below!
Log in to your Poptin account and go to the popups dashboard. Once there, click on the pencil icon next to the popup for which you want to create a teaser, and click "Edit Design" .

Now click on the Teaser screen and select the device Desktop or Mobile to show.

Choose when to show the teaser. There are three options available.
Always – The teaser will always be shown both before and after the popup appears, following the display rules.
Only Before Showing the Popup – The teaser will be displayed before the popup is triggered.
Only After Closing the Popup – The teaser will appear only after the popup has been closed.
The teaser will follow the same display rules as the popup, meaning if the popup is set to appear once a day for each visitor, the teaser will also appear once a day for each visitor
If the display frequency is configured to show the popup all visitors all the time and even after page refresh, the teaser will also appear for all visitors even after page refresh.
Once a visitor converts on the popup they would not see the teaser unless show for converted users is turned on in the display frequency settings.
Note - Always at first Popup's Display Rules would be respected and then Teaser's "When to show the teaser" rule.

Select the Teaser Type of choice. Currently, Poptin offers you three different styles.
Round
Bar
Triangle

Define your desired Teaser size in pixels and give it a good background color. Select your desired location for the teaser. We recommend the bottom right or left corner for better visibility. You can also use the off-set settings to define the space of the teaser from the edge of the screen.

Finally set up the conditions to define how your teaser behaves and how it appears on your website.
Show: Choose when you want the poptin teaser to appear on your page. (Before the poptin shows up/after it shows up, or during all session and based on the poptin’s targeting rules)
Teaser Effect: Choose what kind of effect you want your teaser to have in order to bring more attention to it. The effect repeats every 3 seconds.
Entry Effect: Choose the entry effect of your teaser.
Exit Effect: Choose the exit effect of your teaser.
Close Options: Show X or Hide X close buttons.

You can customize your teaser by adding Image, Icon, and Text to it. I've designed my teaser to show "Click" text only.
