How to Create a Wix Coupon Code

You can now create Wix Coupons directly within Poptin and use them inside your Popups and Forms to offer discounts and boost conversions on your Wix store. Follow the steps below to get started.

1. In your Poptin dashboard, navigate to Coupons under Grow.

2. Click on the New Coupon button.

3. Select Wix Coupon from the options.

4. Enter a Coupon Title and a Coupon Code.

• Coupon Title — An internal label to help you identify the coupon in your dashboard (e.g., "Black Friday 2021 Coupon"). This is not visible to your visitors.
• Coupon Code — The actual code your visitors will see and apply at checkout (e.g., HAPPYSHOPPING20).

5. Choose a Discount Type from the available options on the right side.

There are five discount types you can select:

• Discount % - Applies a percentage off the product price. Enter the percentage amount and select whether it applies once per order or to each eligible item. Under Apply to, you can choose: All products, Specific product, Specific category, or Minimum order subtotal.

• Discount $ - Applies a fixed dollar amount off. Enter the amount and select how it is applied per order. Under Apply to, you can choose: All products, Specific product, Specific category, or Minimum order subtotal.

• Free Shipping - Removes the shipping cost at checkout. Under Apply to, you can choose: All orders or Minimum order subtotal.

• Buy X Get Y - Rewards customers who buy a set quantity with additional free items. Enter the Buy quantity and the Get quantity. Under Apply to, you can choose: All products, Specific product, or Specific category.

• Sale Price - Sets a specific discounted price for a product. Enter the sale price under Now. Under Apply to, you can choose: All products, Specific product, or Specific category.

6. Configure the additional settings based on your needs:

• Include subscriptions - Apply the coupon to subscription-based products.
• Limit number of times this discount can be used in total - You can cap the total usage of the coupon.
• Limit to one use per customer - Prevent the same customer from using the coupon more than once.
• Discount schedule and expiration - Set a start date and an optional expiration date for the coupon. Best for timed promotions.

7. Once everything is configured, click Create Coupon.

Your Wix Coupon will now be available in your Coupons list and can be added to any of your Poptin popups or forms.
