How to create a click to call popup?
In this help guide, we have illustrated how you can create a Click to Call popup on Poptin.
A click to call popup can be created as a call to action popup for your mobile website or for your website's mobile visitors. This popup will come handy if you are trying to redirect visitors to your businesses' help center number or simply trying to get more leads over phone calls.
We have readily available templates to create a Click to Call popup. Here are some examples:
A. Click to Call Mobile popup
Choose the "Click to Call" template under Mobile.
Enter the relevant mobile number where you want the visitor to place a call once they click on the popup, like your help center contact number or reception contact number.
Click on the Next or Publish Changes button at the top right corner to go the Display rules page and set display rules for the popup and then publish it on your website.
B. Call Icon/Widget
Select the "Purple Call Icon/Widget" template from the available template.
Add the relevant phone number where you want the visitor to place a call once they click on the popup, like your help center contact number or reception contact number.
Click on the Next or Publish Changes button at the top right corner to go the Display rules page and set display rules for the popup and then publish it on your website
C. Lightbox or Slide-in template.
You can select any template that suits you like Lightbox or Slide-in template as per your liking from the available templates. We have chose this one to show you the example.
Choose the LINK TO function for Submit button. If you don't have a Submit button, make sure you add it from the Add Element > Button > Submit button setting there.
Then use the tel:0123xxxx function to redirect the visitors to their calling app on their phone. Make sure you choose to show this popup on your Mobile website only.
Click on the Next or Publish Changes button at the top right corner to go the Display rules page and set display rules for the popup and then publish it on your website.
