How to connect your Shopify store and get Shopify features with Poptin?

To use Poptin's Shopify targeting and trigger features you need to connect your Shopify store with Poptin. Here's how to do it.


  1. Navigate to My Account from right top corner of your profile and click My Account.



  1. Then click on API & Connections and click on "Connect Shopify" button.



  1. Now, navigate to your Shopify store and copy the store name from the URL bar.



  1. After clicking on the "Connect Shopify" button in the second step will open a popup. Make sure you're logged in to your Shopify store where you will install Poptin.



  1. Click on the "Go to Shopify App Store" which will take you to the Poptin app page. Now click on Poptin app Install button to install Poptin on your store.



  1. Now you will be taken to your Shopify store dashboard for permission to install it. Just click on "Install" button to install it. Doing so will take you to authorization window. Once authorized you'll be redirect back to Poptin.



  1. You should now be able to see your connected Shopify Store under "API & Connections" under Account in your Poptin dashboard.



  1. Simply create new popups under the main domain to use Shopify Triggers and Targeting rules for the popups.



Note : If you have already signed up via Shopify and have 1 Domain, you can skip this guide.
