How to create a Shopify free shipping bar?

In this guide, we will illustrate how you can create a Free Shipping Bar for your Shopify store. Free Shipping Bar would help you reduce cart abandonments as well as increase your average order value + most importantly make your customers happy.

Please follow the steps below to create a shipping bar based on Flat Rate Shipping.

Select Popup from the four available options.

Select Bar Popups and click on Preview and Edit button on the any bar popup template. Give your popup a name and type in your domain where you want to show the popup when Prompted.

Edit the text to your liking. We are going to be using the below text.

"Your current cart value is ${{shpfy_value}} . Get Free Shipping by adding ${{shpfy_gap}} more to your cart."

{{shpfy_value}} : This tag reflects the Amount / Value of items in the cart.

{{shpfy_gap}} : It is the remaining amount that should be added to the cart to activate the coupon.

Click next and in the Display Rules and turn on Shopify Cart Trigger .

Action in Cart > Cart Values Threshold

Cart Value > Greater than or equal > 5 (or any amount at which you wanna show the shipping bar)

Turn on Shopify Cart Targeting and select the below options.

Show To > Cart Money Value > Under > Amount (You can add your amount threshold for a free shipping coupon)

Go to your Shopify Dashboard > Discounts > Create Discount .

Give your discount code a name and follow the settings below.

Type - Fixed Amount
Discount Value - (Your flat rate shipping value goes here)
Minimum Requirements - Cart Value Threshold

and publish the discount code.

Publish the popup and check your store to test the Shipping Bar.
