# Mobile Editing toggle - different versions for desktop and mobile

Once you turn ON the Mobile Editing toggle on the Design page of your poptin, your poptin will have **2 separate versions**. One for desktop and one for mobile. The recommended size for the mobile version is under ( **430 x 780**) which you will see when you enable mobile editing toggle.

From that point on, any change you do on the desktop version won't affect the mobile version, and vice versa.
You will be able to edit each version by clicking on these icons above the design:

You can change: 

* Text (for example, have a shorter text in mobile version)
* Background color / image
* Add images, text elements, video, news ticker, HTML, icons and shape
* Button color
* Poptin size (width and Height)
* Thank-you screen
* Vertical/horizontal order for fields

But the number and type of **fields** will always stay the same in both versions. Same with **Timer** , it will have to be on both versions, but you can control its size. Also the **size of the Main screen and the Thank-you screen** of for each device will stay the same, and the **X closing option** too.

**Note:** the toggle is not for targeting devices. If the toggle is off, it just means the same design will show up on desktop and mobile. If you don't want to show the popup on mobile, go to the next page (Display Rules) and turn OFF the mobile option from the Devices section.
