# How to target customers by Shopify login status?

You can now show Poptin to users based on their visitor states such as Logged-in or Logged-out users.

1. Go to your display rules and turn on the **Shopify Targeting for Visitors** under **Display Rules** . You can definitely combinate it with others but in this guide, we will keep it clean.

2. Once turned on you can select the parameter as **Show** or **Don't Show** .

3. Once you've selected the condition you can now choose your visitor state to be either Logged-in visitors or Logged-out Visitors

* **Logged-in Visitors** : Show Poptin to visitors that are Logged-In to your Shopify store.
* **Logged-out Visitors** : Show Poptin to everyone that is not currently Logged-In to your Shopify store.
