# How to Remove !important from Popup Font Styles in Poptin?

By default, Poptin applies `!important` to font-family styles in popups. If you're customizing your popup and need to apply your own `!important` styles, follow the steps below:

1. Place the following script **above** your Poptin installation code on your website:

`<script> var poptin_strip_font_imp = true; </script>`

This will strip the `!important` declaration from font-family styles in your popup, allowing your custom styles to work properly.
