# How to import contacts from MailChimp?

In this help guide, we will tell you step by step on how you can import contacts into Poptin from MailChimp.

Please follow the steps below for each of the method.

1. In your Poptin dashboard navigate to **Lead > Contacts**  and on New Contact click on the drop down menu and click **Import**.

2. Select **Import from another service**.

3. Select **MailChimp** from the 4 available services. Add your [API KEY](https://us9.admin.mailchimp.com/account/api/) then select the List from the dropdown and click **Import**.

4. Import may take a few seconds to couple of minutes depending on the number of contacts you are importing. You should now see all the imported contacts in your Poptin leads.
