# How to create a news ticker popup?


1. Choose poptin template. We recommend choosing a Bar type. It is the best option for a news ticker. You can build your own Bar as well.

2. Go to the design section and click on **Add elements**. You will see all options below. Click on the **News ticker** then.

3. You can add your own text there and choose a speed of it as well.

4. There are many options of speed, just make sure that your users will have enough time to read the text.

**NOTE:**  You can always check how fast the news ticker is going by clicking on **Preview** before publishing.
