# How to create a cookie consent popup (GDPR)? (Desktop & Mobile)

**For Desktop**

1. Choose a poptin template. Best option we recommend for the Cookie Consent is Slide-In. You can build your own Bar as well if you want. Select our pre-made Cookie Consent slide-in.

2. Go to the design and edit the Slide-in to match your website’s theme in this, we’ve customized the popup to match a customer’s website’s theme. (Don’t forget to change the link to **Find Out More** to your website’s GDPR / Privacy Policy page)

3. Click next and apply your display rules. For GDPR/Cookie Consent we recommend setting **Display Frequency to display everyone once a day.**

4. Finally Publish the cookie consent you just created.

**For Mobile**

1. We provide a similar template for Mobile devices available in our template section that can be edited and customized to match your website's theme.

2. Click next and apply your display rules. For GDPR/Cookie Consent on Mobile Devices we recommend setting **Display Frequency to display everyone once a day** . Our mobile templates are already set to show only on Mobile Devices.
