# How to change the timing of your poptin's X close button?


1. Click on the drop down icon next to the popup where you want to add the custom font, there click on the **"Edit Design"** option

2. Navigate to **Advanced** on your left panel and select **Show X** in the close options.

3. Insert the time (seconds) you want **X ** to show up after the popup is displayed. You can also add Hover Message on **X** .

**Note:** Poptin also gives you options to hide **X Close Button** or replace it with a **Skip Button** . We don't recommend to make it too long (more than a few seconds)
